Welcome to the first episode of “In a Click”. On todays show I chat with Frank Boehm. He’s an expert in nanotechnology and nanomedicine, author of, “Nanomedical Device and Systems Design: Challenges, Possibilities and Visions”, and founder of the startup company, NanoApps Medical, Inc.

During our conversation we delve into nanomedical treatments for various types of cancer and sports related injuries. We also chat about artificial intelligence, robotics, brain chips, reversing the aging process, and the ethical and safety related issues attached to all of these types of technological advancements.

About Jamilee Baroud

Jamilee is a PhD candidate in the Faculty of Education at the University of Ottawa.

She has a M.Ed. with a Specialization in Women’s Studies from Lakehead University. She coordinates the Critical Research Collective/Collectif de recherche critique (CRC), a research-based discussion group comprised of professors and graduate students in the Faculty of Education.

Jamilee conducts workshops for in-service teachers, teacher candidates, and youth from marginalized communities on critical digital literacies, and for teacher candidates on citizen science education. She also works with colleagues to develop primers, discussion guides, and teaching resources.
